50 g fresh basil
30 g sunflower seeds or pine nuts
1 scoop Land Art Spirulina Extra
50 g grated parmesan (or nutritional yeast for a vegan version)
1 garlic clove
100 ml olive oil
1 tbsp lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste
In a blender, combine basil, seeds, parmesan (or yeast), garlic, and spirulina.
Pulse until the mixture is slightly coarse.
Slowly add olive oil and lemon juice while blending until smooth.
Season with salt and pepper.
Store in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to 1 week.
For a thinner texture, add more olive oil or water. Try swapping basil for arugula or parsley for a tasty variation.
