Granita is the best dessert to beat the summer heat – on top of being easy to make and sure to please! Deliciously sweet flaky crystals, served right in the watermelon shell, with antioxidant and revitalizing aloe vera juice. Give it a try!
Ingredients
Cut the melon in two, and empty one half using a spoon. Keep the shell. Using a blender, puree the watermelon flesh, lime juice and aloe vera until smooth. Add sugar if needed. Pour in a container big enough for the mixture to be about 1 cm thick, then freeze. Every half hour, use a fork to scrape the mixture until it has a flaky consistency. Serve right in the shell, using fresh mint leaves to garnish.
